We are Proud to Announce…

 

For those who may not know, we are very proud to announce that CRUSH Chef and Partner Jason Wilson was awarded a most coveted accolade this year… Best Chef Northwest from the James Beard Foundation! Often referred to as the “Oscar Awards” of the culinary world, this acknowledgement is a new milestone for us at CRUSH.

The Monterey Bay Aquarium has also acknowledged Jason’s work in supporting Sustainable Seafood through his menus, use of sustainable products and advocacy for sustainability at the COOKING FOR SOLUTIONS event held at the Aquarium. The Monterey Bay Aquarium has been the pioneer in establishing parameters for sustainable seafood use and establishing guidelines for which species are best for consumers and the longevity of the species.

SUMMERTIME HAPPENINGS AT CRUSH

As summer arrives we are happy to announce some new ways to enjoy dining at CRUSH and of course our early summer menu.

 

Dining on the Patio

The garden Patio will be enhanced this year with the addition of our 16 foot solid Teak table where guests may enjoy dining with larger parties or splitting the table comfortably with two smaller ones. This hand crafted table has been used in the past at our private dining space and is the perfect compliment to outdoor dining at CRUSH. Come and enjoy a cool summer cocktail or glass of Rose near our herb garden with a cool breeze and a softly lit urban oasis. We will seat nightly, weather permitting, offering our regular and tasting menus.

 

Our Urban Garden

We are still hard at work transforming our city plot of organic land into a fully operational garden space for CRUSH chefs and crew to grow and harvest the freshest vegetables and herbs from, you’ll see throughout the summer and fall new additions to the menu and sporadic inspirations to our tasting menu, using garden fresh produce grown 8 blocks from CRUSH. We are taking a most diligent approach to connecting our guests with the growers!
